Rubina’s was founded in June 2012. It started with the desire to bring handful beauty rituals of ancient times back to the forefront of today’s beauty industry. One of them, which is threading, was introduced to Kiwi culture by Rubina’s founder Rubina Sangha when she first moved to New Zealand in 2008. Threading is a hair removal technique, using slightly waxed pure cotton thread. It is easy to learn the method or the skill, but ultimately it takes years and hundreds of brows before one can master the Art of Threading. Beginning with the flagship store in Botany Town Centre, continued demand of high quality service led to expansion of the business to include 2 other locations.

Cleanliness: All our tools are thoroughly sterilised and we comply with NZ Beauty Therapy Association rules and regulations and the local Council standards. We also only use organic thread for all our threading services. For all waxing and tinting services only disposables are used.
