Google Arts and Culture has a range of beautifully shot videos and 360 degree photography of amazing places around the world, including the hidden world of National Parks, famous sites and historic landmarks. Explore the likes of the Taj Mahal, the Great Pyramid of Giza and the Colosseum, without even leaving your lounge room.


Beauty Fix

Cult beauty brand MAC Cosmetics is bringing the best of beauty to you in the comfort of your own home, with their new online video turtorials bringing you hours of endless, creative fun.

Movies and TV

If you haven’t yet subscribed to online streaming services like Netflix and Stan, this might be the time to consider it to enjoy some fantastic movies and television shows. In addition, Netflix has just launched its new Netflix Party service, which is the new way to watch Netflix with your friends online, with a synchronised playback service and a group chat so you can see what your friends think too.

Study Resources

Use this time to study up and equip yourself with some new knowledge. There are many universities and organisations offering online study courses, including edX which offers courses from Harvard, Berkley and MIT, and Massey University of New Zealand. Auckland Libraries also have some great online study resources, available across all industries.

Museums and Art Galleries

Many international museums are offering virtual tours so you can get your culture fix without even leaving your couch. Locally, the Auckland War Memorial Museum is also offering free virtual tours.
