The Botany Town Centre Summer Fun Run and Walk is a fun event for people of all ages and abilities.

The Fun Run and Walk is staged over two distances: 5km and 10km.  The route is all flat and on tarmac.
The start and finish is inside Botany Town Centre's Town Square.

Entry  

 Entries will be taken online here and by post.

 

Entries will also be taken at Botany Town Centreon the Thursday, Friday and Saturday prior to the event taking place.  The entry desk will be located outside the Platinum Nike store.

 

Late Entries will be taken on the Sunday Morning of the event from 7:00am - 8:30am outside the Platinum Nike store.
 

Please note that Sunday morning Late entries will incur a $10 late fee.

 

 

Registration will take place outside the Platinum Nike store in the Botany Town Centre's Town Square in the week leading up to the event.

 

Thursday - 9:00am to 5:00pm

Friday - 9:00am to 5:00pm

Saturday - 9:00am to 5:00pm

Sunday - 7:00am to 8:30am

 

 

 

Every Competitor will be issued with a Timing Responder at Race Registration.

 

The Timing Responder will electronically record your time as you cross over the Timing Mats at the finish.

 

Please attach your Timing Responder to your shoes as follows:

 

1. Thread your laces through the top two holes of the Timing Responder.

 

2. Tie your shoelaces as normal and wear throughout the race.

 

3. Remove Timing Responder after the race and place in the containers provided at the finish.

 

4. The non return of your Timing Responder will incur a $30 fee.

 

 

 

Please place your race number into the spot prize box on the stage.  You must be in attendance at the prize giving to win a spot prize.

 

 

 

Awards will be given out to the top man and women in the 10km and 5km walk and run.

 

 

 

Sorry no dogs, except guide dogs, are allowed.

 

You cannot enter on a bike, scooter, skateboard or rollerblades.

 

Only children in prams can enter the fun run and walk without a race number.

 

Participants who would like to run some of the way but walk the majority must enter as a runner.
 

Only participants who will walk the complete course should register as a walker.
